When you buy Maggie Noodles, you can always follow the instruction on the back of the packet for cooking the Noodles. I tried making this with some variations and it turned out to be a much tastier recipe. You can also add more vegetables as per your taste and liking. This dish can be made with any regular noodles.
Oil – 2 tbsp
Maggi Noodles – 2
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Green Chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
Tomato -1 (finely chopped)
Fresh or frozen Green Peas – ¼ cup (boiled)
Finely chopped Green Capsicum – 3 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder – ¼ tsp or to suit one’s taste
Cumin Seed Powder – ¼ tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 pinch
Garam Masala – 1 pinch
Salt – to suit one’s taste
Maggie Masala – 2 packets
Water – 2 cups
Finely chopped Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
Heat the Oil in a pan. Add the finely chopped Onion and Green Chilli. Sauté the Onion till it turns golden.
Add the Tomatoes. Cook for a minute. Add the boiled peas and finely chopped Capsicum. Cook for another minute. Mix well and add 2 cups of water. Mix well. Adjust Salt.
When the water comes to a boil, break the Noodles and add to the above. Mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Add Coriander Leaves. Mix and transfer to a serving bowl.
You can add more water and boil if you want it to be little watery.
