It is Mango Season now and so it is time to make tasty delicious and flavorful dishes with raw Mango as well as Ripe Mango. As you are all aware, Ladoo is a spherical sweet dish which originated from regions like Rajasthan and spread all over India. Now every region has its own Ladoo specialty like Besan Ladoo, Coconut Ladoo, Shahi Ladoo etc. And we will make a difference by making a Ladoo with ripe Mango and Coconut. Ripe Mango and Coconut combines very well to give a great taste. Mango lovers will love this Ladoo. It is simple to make this Ladoo and one can make this in really quick time. Try at home. Ripe Sweet Mangoes – 2 (or Readily Available Mango Puree – 1 cup)
Desiccated Coconut – 1 cup
Condensed Milk – 1/3 cup (adjust quantity to suit your preference)
If you do not have desiccated Coconut, grate fresh Coconut. Fry the grated Coconut for 8 to 10 minutes till it becomes dry. Allow them to cool and you can use it as desiccated Coconut.
Peel the Mangoes and discard the skin. Cut into cubes. Blend in a mixer or blender to a fine smooth puree.
Dry roast the desiccated Coconut for a minute in low flame. Add the Mango Puree and condensed Milk and mix well. Cook for 4 minutes in medium high flame. And continue cooking in low medium
