Mohammed Ka Sherbet is a very popular refreshing and delicious drink variety of Old Delhi. This is prepared with water melon as the main ingredient. Ingredients –
Boiled and then chilled Milk – 500 Gms
Rose Syrup or Rooh Afza – 3 to 4 tbsp
Powdered Sugar – 2 tbsp
Water Melon Juice –
Ice Cubes
Finely chopped Water Melon cubes – 1 cup
Chia Seed (Subja) – 2 tsp (optional)
Method:
Take all the ingredients except Ice Cubes in a mixing bowl. Combine them well. Pour into serving glasses. Add Ice Cubes and serve. Serve as soon as prepared so that the chillness of the milk is not lost. Else, refrigerate and serve.
