This Cheesy Pasta is a very tasty dish. It will be an instant favorite among kids. You can add many types of vegetables and make it a healthy dish.
Macaroni or any Pasta – 1 cup
Butter – 1 tbsp + ½ tsp of Oil
Finely Chopped Ginger – 1 tsp
Finely Chopped Garlic – 1 tbsp
Finely Chopped Onion – 1
Finely Chopped Carrot – ¼ cup
Finely Chopped Tomato – 1
Finely Chopped Bell Pepper – ¼ cup
Pasta Masala – ½ tsp
Black Pepper Powder – ¼ tsp
Chopped Basil Leaves – ½ tsp
Fresh Cream – 1 tbsp
Grated Parmesan Cheese – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Boil the Macaroni in 2 to 3 cups of water with ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp Oil for 10 to 12 minutes.
Stir at regular intervals. In the meanwhile, Chop the Vegetables and keep aside.
When Macaroni is cooked well, strain it in a sieve.
Heat the butter in a pan. Add chopped Ginger and Garlic. Sauté for a while.
Add Chopped Carrots and stir for 1 to 2 minutes. Add Capsicum and Tomato. Add Salt. Mix them. Cover with a lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes in medium flame.
Add Pasta Masala, Pepper Powder and the chopped Basil Leaves. Stir them well for a minute.
Add the boiled Macaroni, stir well and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes in medium flame (stirring in between).
Add the Grated Cheese and a tbsp of fresh cream.
Stir well for a minute and switch off the flame.
Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot!
