Egg Roast is a simple to make recipe. If the egg is already boiled and ready, it takes just a few minutes to prepare. It is one of the popular dishes in our home for dinner
Eggs – 3 Nos (Boiled and peeled)
Onion – 2 big (Sliced)
Tomato – 3 big (Sliced)
Crushed Ginger Garlic Paste -2 tsp
Chilli Powder- 2 tsp
Turmeric (Haldi) Powder – ¼ tsp
Roasted Jeera (Cumin) Powder – ½ tsp
Garam Masala Powder – ¼ tsp
Dhania (Cilantro Leaves) – 2 to 3 tsp (Finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Make slit in one side of the peeled eggs.
Heat oil in a pan. Add Onion and stir cook for a minute. Add Ginger Garlic Paste and Salt and stir cook for one more minute.
Add Tomatoes – cook for a couple of minutes.
Add turmeric Powder and chilli Powder. Mix well.
Add 2 tsp of water. Cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes in low to medium flame.
Open, mash the tomatoes, add the eggs, mix gently, cover and cook for a couple of minutes.
Done! Garnish with cilantro leaves.
It goes well with Rice, Roti, Naan etc.
