Sandwich is a good option for breakfast on a busy weekday weekend. They can be made fast and helps in making a tasty and more likeable breakfast when everyone is in a hurry to rush to work. There are type of Sandwiches. One example is the simple Scrambled Egg Sandwich.
Eggs – 2
Bread – 4 slices
Oil – 1 tbsp
Cumin Seeds – ¼ tsp
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Green Chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
Grated Ginger – ½ tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/8 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 pinch
Black Pepper Powder – 1 pinch
Garam Masala – 1 pinch
Chopped Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Butter – 1 to 1 ½ tsp
Heat the Oil in a pan. Add Cumin Seeds. When it starts spluttering, add the chopped Onion, Green Chillies and the grated Ginger. Stir cook till the Onion becomes translucent.
Add the dry Masala Powder and stir for a minute in low flame.
Break the Eggs into it and scramble gently. Cook till the Egg become soft.
Add Coriander Leaves.
Mix and transfer to another vessel.
Trim the edges of the bread if required. Heat a Tawa and toast the bread with butter on one side only.
Keep half the scrambled Egg on the bread.
Cover it with another slice of Bread and press it well with a spatula.
