Schezwan cuisine is a style of Chinese cuisine originating from Sichuan Province. It has bold flavors, particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and chili peppers, as well as the unique flavor of Sichuan pepper.
This cuisine has been adopted to make so many variations of dishes in India using the Schezwan sauce. It includes the preparation of Noodles recipe also. Let us see how to make such a dish using the popular Maggi Noodles. This dish will be liked by all age group and children would love it. Oil – 2 tbsp
Maggi Noodles- 1 packet
Finely chopped Garlic – 1 tsp
Thinly Sliced Vegetables (Onion, Carrot, Capsicum) – 1 ½ cup
Schezwan Chutney or Sauce – 2 ½ tbsp
Maggi Masala Taste maker – 2 pouch
Red Chilli Sauce – 1 tsp
Soya Sauce – 1 tsp
Tomato Sauce – 1 tbsp
Maggie Noodles – 2 packets
Spring Onion Greens – 2 tbsp
Spring Onion Greens – for garnishing also.
Heat the Oil in a pan. Sauté Garlic for 30 seconds in it in high flame. Add the vegetables and fry them for a minute.
Add water, Schezwan sauce, Maggi Taste maker, Chilli Sauce, Soya Sauce and Tomato Sauce. Adjust Salt, if required.
When everything comes to a boil, add the Maggi Noodles and cook in high flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the Spring Onion Greens. Mix well and cook for another minute. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with Spring Onion Greens.
The simple and tasty Noodles is ready.
