Sandwich with spicy potato/Aloo Masala Sandwich is another variety of Bread Sandwich. If there is mashed potato readily available, it takes just a few minutes to prepare this tasty sandwich.
Potatoes Medium Sized – 3 (Boiled, Peeled and mashed)
Onion Medium Size – 1 (finely chopped)
Cilantro (Dhania Leaves) – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Chilli Powder – ¼ tsp
Turmeric (Haldi) 1 pinch
Roasted Jeera Powder – 1 pinch
Salt to taste
Cilantro Chutney – 2 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup – 2 tbsp
Butter – 1 tbsp
Bread Slices – 6
Take the mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl, add Onion, Cilantro, Chilli Powder, Jeera Powder, Haldi Powder and salt. Mix it well. Divide into three portions.
Trim the outer edges of the bread slices if the edges are hard.
Spread Ketchup on one side of the three slices of bread. Spread butter and cilantro chutney on the other three slices of Bread.
Spread each portion of the Potato mix evenly on these slices. Cover them with the slices that have been spread with Ketchup. Press lightly.
Toast these Sandwiches one by one in a bread toaster till it becomes crisp.
Ready to eat with tea or coffee.
