Homemade fenugreek powder is completely different in quality and taste from readymade powder available in stores.
Heat a broad based pan. Add 100 grams of fenugreek seed.
Roast it in a low to medium flame. When it becomes light brown and releases a nice aroma, put off the flame and remove the pan and allow it to cool.
Grind it into a fine or coarse powder according to preference.
Let the powder cool down. Store it in an air tight container.
It will stay fresh for almost 2 months. If stored in a fridge, its shelf life will be more than 3 months
