Mushroom Paneer Sandwich is an easy to make tasty and healthy sandwich. You can have this Sandwich as a breakfast, evening snack or dinner also. When Paneer is combined with Mushroom, it makes a delicious filling for a Sandwich.
Olive Oil – 1 tbsp
Sliced Mushroom – 250 Gms
Cumin Seed – ½ tsp
Crushed Garlic – 1 tsp
Green Chili – (finely chopped)
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Mixed Herb – ¼ tsp
Black Pepper Powder – ¼ tsp
Grated Cottage Cheese (Paneer) – 100 Gms
Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Butter 1 tsp + as required
Bread Slices – 6
Heat Olive Oil or Butter in a pan. Add Crushed Garlic. Sauté it for 30 seconds in medium flame.
Add Onion and Green Chilli. Stir cook till the Onion becomes translucent.
Add the sliced Mushroom and Salt, Mixed Herbs and Pepper Powder.
Mix well. Reduce heat and cook till Mushrooms are well done.
Transfer it to a bowl. Add Cottage Cheese and coriander leaves and mix well.
Preheat a Sandwich Grill. Spread spoonful of butter each on three slices of bread. Divide the stuffing into three portions. Place one portion each on the three slices. Cover the slices with the other three slices. Spread little more butter on top of these slices.
Grill these Sandwich on the sandwich grill till the grill mark appears on both sides of the Sandwich.
Cut the Sandwich into triangle shaped pieces and serve hot with tea, coffee etc.
