Masala French Toast is a tea time snack – quick and easy to make.
The traditional French Toast is made up off Egg, Milk, Sugar and Butter. I made this spicy with Green Chilli, Chilli Flakes, Onion and a little milk. It can be used as a quick snack or for breakfast.
Eggs – 3 Nos
Bread – 3 slices
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Green Chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
Cilantro (Dhania Leaves) – 2 tbsp
Chilli flakes – ½ pinch
Milk – 1 tsp
Butter – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Crack open the Eggs to a mixing bowl. Add one tsp of milk, salt, Cilantro, Green Chilli.
Whisk it well.
Simultaneously, heat a pan. Add a little Butter. Spread the butter.
Take a Bread slice, dip it in the Egg mixture and place it on the pan.
Spread some Onion, Green Chilli, Cilantro and Chilli flakes on the bread. Pour some Egg mixture on top of it to cover the above. Allow to cook a little.
Turn the Bread and allow the other side to cook. Ensure both the sides are cooked uniformly.
Transfer to a plate and serve.
Avoid Green Chilli and Chilli flakes to make it less Spicy. Instead, sprinkle Black Pepper Powder.
