Carrot and Green Peas Sandwich is a great snack for adults and children alike. This colorful sandwich is very easy to prepare and tasty also.
Carrot – 300 Gms (Grated)
Fresh Green Peas (Vatana) – ½ cup (boiled and slightly smashed)
Grated Cheese – 1 tbsp
Cilantro (Dhania) Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Salt – to taste
Bread Slices – 4 slices
Grated Cottage Cheese (Paneer) – 2 tbsp
Oil – 1 tsp
Jeera (Cumin Seed) – ½ tsp
Green Chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
Heat Oil in a pan. Add Cumin Seeds.
When it crackles, add Green Chilli. Sauté for a minute.
Add the Carrot. Cook for a couple of minutes.
Add the Boiled Green Peas. Mix and add the Grated Cheese and Paneer. Add Cilantro. Mix well and transfer to a bowl.
Place the Bread Slices in a dry and flat surface. Spread half portion of the prepared filling on one slice and spread it evenly.
Place another slice of Bread over it and press lightly to make the sandwich.
This Sandwich is a good breakfast as well as a good lunch option.
